« To get a free quotation, you will simply need to email or post the documents you wish to be translated, or give me the number of words, with a clear indication of the nature of the document. As regards interpretations, I charge by the hour, or per half or full day. Travel expenses will be added whenever necessary.* »
Prices for a translation:
Prices for translation generally range from €0.14 to €0.30 per source word (VAT does not apply), depending on whether the subject is non-specific or technical, or if it is a legal document; depending also on the volume to be translated, the agreed date of delivery, the requested page layout, and the type of translation.
For a short official document, the set price is €55.
Prices for interpretations:
- Price for half a day: €350 (VAT does not apply)
- Price for a full day: €650 (VAT does not apply)
- €80 for every additional hour (VAT does not apply)
Price per hour for legal interpretation (for your appointments and visits to your lawyer (solicitor/counsel), ‘notaire’, bailiff, for weddings, etc.):
€100 (VAT does not apply)
*A deposit may be requested for lengthy work.
VAT does not apply pursuant to Art. 293B of the French General Tax Code (Code Général des Impôts).
